With over 40 years of experience in home building, Toby is recognized and highly respected for his expertise in the construction industry. Following graduation from Colorado State University with a degree in Construction Management, Toby began his career as a framer in the Fort Collins area. Over the next two decades he was involved in all aspects of managing and expanding home building operations for both local and national homebuilders, participating in the construction of over 20,000 single-family homes in Colorado.
From his start as Construction Supervisor in the 1990s with local builder Melody Homes, through his tenure as Division President | Melody Series for national builder DR Horton, Toby became aware that the next phase of his career would be to return to a more personalized experience between the builder and the home buyer. Always a believer in the American Dream of home ownership, Toby chose to act on his vision of what the home buying experience should be and formed his own company in 2006 - Shadow Creek Homes.
